Lucia Valentini-Terrani (born 1946) has long been one of the most popular Mezzo-Sopranos in her native Italy. She has toured the major Opera Houses in the United States and England, and has recorded for RCA Victor, Deutsche Grammophon and Sony Classical. With her impressive list of credentials and considerable talents, it's surprising that Valentini-Terrani isn't better known outside of Italy.
