Hajdi Elzeser

Born in 1971 in Skopje, Macedonia, Hajdi Elzeser began her piano studies at an early age in her native city. After graduating cum laude, she continued her studies at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, where she received her Artist's Diploma in 1992. Elzeser was awarded the Performer's Diplomar in 2001 from the Detmold Hochschule für Musik in the class of Jean-Efflam Bavouzet. She also participated in master classes of Delle Vigne and Paul Badura-Skoda.

Alzeser recorded her first CD in 1999 - a Brahms/Schubert recital - for the Quantum label, in France. She appears as recitalist and soloist throughout the former Yugoslavia, and has also performed in Paris and Germany. Hajdi Elzeser now makes her home in Germany.
