Kirill Goryachkin has been playing the balalaika since the age of seven. He is currently a music student at the Gnessin's Academy of Music, where he studies with Professor P.Necheporenko. Already, Goryachkin has distinguished himself in several festivals, including the Grand Prize at the "Young Talents of Moscow" Festival. His repertory consists of both classical and folk-oriented works, by composers such as Bach, Scarlatti, Rossini, Milhaud, Vasilenko, Budashkin, and Shishakov.
