Paulus is an American composer of musical drama. After studying at Minnesota University, he became composer-in-residence of The Minnesota Orchestra in 1983. Paulus gained public recognition with =The Village Singer=, a one act opera. Another success was =The Postman Always Rings Twice=, first performed in 1982 in St.Louis, MO.
