Subject: Rachmaninov 2nd Concerto

Dear Pierre,

Here are two more you may like! These are the first and
third movements of Rachmaninov's 2nd piano concerto.

Here, they are in a version for two pianos. My good friend John Lenehan came over for Sunday lunch today. Before lunch, he simply played these, LIVE and NOT EDITED AT ALL, on my Yamaha Clavinova!

It was, in a way, part of his preparation for a big concert that he has soon in the Barbican, London.

If you decide to include these, he should get the credit, not I! I only clicked the mouse and poured the wine! John has no Internet account (yet) but I can pass on any messages.

I hope you like these as much as we did! We will later on do all the Beethovan symphonies in the same way ... if it rains!
