In Romanza de los Pinos, which translates to Romance of the Pines, Moreno-Torroba gives us a solemn musical depiction of a Spanish afternoon under the Pine tress. Even in the middle of a Canadian winter, one can not help visualizing oneself falling asleep in the shade of a Iberian Pine upon listening to this short jewel.
