Musicology:
Like others of the symphonies written in 1770, it seems obviously to have been written for Italian audience tastes. This brisk symphony uses virtuoso playing effects developed in the famous is a Mannheimorchestra, such as the, rocketing string scales which are pitted against the basic idea of the first movement. This influence co-exists with elements that were popular in Italian operas buffe of the time. -
