This work is a happily contented and somewhat reflective rag that strolls leisurely from start to finish and features some chromatic deviations from its basic scales that enhance its overall aura of well-being. The characteristic syncopations of ragtime are intermingled throghout with material that more squarely than usual emphasizes the music's metric framework.
