Genre: Concerto
Pr. Instrument: Violin
- 1.Allegro

- 3.Allegro
This concerto can be played on the violin or on the oboe.
A steadily moving and energetically paced bass line lends an industrious feel to the opening Allegro's initial ritornello. The violins in the ensemble discreetly accompany the first solo passage, the continuo accompanies the second and third, and the full ensemble accompanies the fourth. The first solo break prominently features syncopations in its melodic line, the second runs on virtuosic figurations, and the third and fourth incorporate lyrical and virtuosic elements.
The subsequent Largo is an elaborately contoured cantilena for the soloist, accompanied by the continuo.
The concluding Allegro takes off with a lyrical and industrious ritornello that sounds like it starts in the middle and echoes several of its own phrases along the way. The continuo backs the first two solo breaks, the first of which is a virtuosic outing and the second of which contains lyrical and virtuosic expressions. The third solo break begins with a sustained and syncopated passage over active accompaniment in the violins, and a tutti interjection leads to a more virtuosic section over backing from the continuo.
