This work is a jauntily easygoing single-movement keyboard sonata that sometimes moves forward in a clear triple meter and sometimes makes progress that is metrically ambiguous. Sometimes the texture is chordal, sometimes it consists of two contrapuntal strands. There is some imitation between the two musical voices at the beginning.
