Composer, pianist, teacher, researcher

Born in the town of Lyubertsy, Moscow region. His first music teacher was his father David, who passed him the foundations Russian piano school skills, taking its origin from A. Rubinstein, P. Tchaikovsky and S. Rachmaninoff. Graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory named after P. Tchaikovsky, piano class with Gleb Akselrod and composition class with Tikhon Khrennikov.

As a concert pianist he toured in Russia, CIS and Baltic countries, Germany, the USA, the UK.

A member of the USSR Composers Union (1975), Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Composers Union (1993 - 1997). An author of instrumental, symphonic, vocal, choral works, chamber music, piano arrangements.

His major works: "Musical moments" for piano, "Children's album" for piano, a series of plays - piano arrangements of music by U. Gadzhibekov, four sonatas for violin and piano, three symphonies, trio "Dedication to Brahms", the ballet "Pugachyov", music for the ballet "1914", "Baroque Suite" for chamber orchestra, a song series on German folklore poems (German songs and ballads), a series for voice and piano "The Charm of haiku" on Japanese poems, a choral miniature series for children's chorus on American folklore verses, "Requiem" for chorus, as well as concerts for different instruments with orchestra.

Worked as a teacher at all three music education levels. First Deputy Director of the Central music school at the Moscow State Conservatory (1997 - 2000). Consultant at Sharon Music Academy (USA).

Author of such works as "Forgotten rules" (about expressive ways of playing keyboard instruments by means of articulation and agogic in the Baroque), "How to comprehend piano music of Haydn", "Stage Success and reasons of stage failures", "Chopin's pedaling uniqueness". Complete collection of pedagogical heritage of E. Teregulov is presented in the book "Forgotten rules in the music of Baroque and classicism" (2013) with the reprinting of works of different years and supplements, series of lectures, DVD app.
